Recommendation
February, 2022
To Whom It May Concern:
It is my very great pleasure that I write this recommendation for Angela Mattioli to confirm and support her creative career. Angela has a natural talent and deep passion for design and gifted ability to create spontaneously. As a member of my team, she excelled at leading and fostering comradery with wit and humor.
Among her many achievements and accomplishments as Designer and Creative Manager during her time at Age of Learning, Angela was responsible for many assignments for both digital assets and print collateral, and also concepting, architecting, and maintaining our corporate digital Style Guide—the primary resource for core brand standards and company vision. She enthusiastically designed a system encompassing over 10,000 entries that include specific guidelines on everything we produce creatively, from our characters and activities to our features and supported platforms.
Angela lead a team in defining and documenting our best practices, guidelines, corporate philosophy, and liaised with teams to implement these critical foundations. Angela’s vast understanding of our educational gaming brand positioned her to be named Creative Producer for our TV/Video Studio team; producing both live and animated educational and entertaining content. She shined at designing all aspects of show development including makeup, props, set design, costuming, and organized systems for cataloging talent/outfits per episodes. Angela sourced vendors, locations, and established talent hospitality to ensure parents and tutors were comfortably accommodated, and complied with state laws.
As a member of my brand-centric team, I have found Angela to be an exceptional source for both big-picture thinking, as well as details. In conjunction with the Head of Curriculum, and Sr. Writer, Angela developed a continuity system for reviewing video content to generate Style Points & Art Guidelines for use by animators, writers, motion graphics, and overseas vendors—resulting in time and cost savings. Teams relied on her to review and direct content development, and she provided a vital cohesiveness for all our educational products.
Overall, Angela exhibited the qualities of a “can-do” team member throughout her career, and I admire her work-hard ethic, vivid, sincere, and outgoing personality—and, she is an amazing baker! Angela Mattioli would truly be a wonderful addition to any team.
Sincerely,
Chris Jaszkowiak,
—Senior Creative Director, Brand Marketing/Creative Services, Age of Learning
